COSO ERM AND THE ROLE OF INTERNAL AUDITORS IN FRAUD PREVENTION (Survey on Internal Auditors in Indonesia)

Main Purpose - This study aims to determine and analyze how much the role of internal audit control with COSO ERM 2017 approach has an effect on preventing fraud (corruption).Method The data was obtained through distribution questionnaires auditors at Indonesian Institute Internal Auditors. Determination sample using random sampling method, for analysis used SEM-PLS number samples as many 133 respondents.Main Findings fact that happened in Indonesia, there are several cases corruption have occurred example case PT. Asuransi Jiwasraya (ASABRI), Garuda Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Corruption Lobster Seed permit, social assistance covid-19, LPEI allegation. phenomenon proves still various problems occur 2019 ACFE survey shows is dominated by acts a percentage 64.4%. attracts researchers conduct further research framework which not found previous research, focuses more fraud, type appear stated (2019).Theory Practical Implications Audit positive Fraud Prevention.
